About
blah.my.id is a free collection of small, focused web tools for everyday tasks: text cleanup, developer formats, conversions, calculations, and random generators. The goal is simple: arrive, solve the task in seconds, leave.
How it works
The site is a static website. Each tool runs as code in your browser, so there is no server-side processing of your input: what you type or paste is not sent anywhere. Any future tool that would need live external data (for example currency rates) will say so on its own page before you use it.
Rules every tool is held to
- Useful before numerous: a tool ships only with tests, clear limits, and error states.
- Honest capabilities: precision, units, and limitations are stated on the page.
- Accessible by default: keyboard use, visible focus, and screen-reader announcements.
- No dark patterns: no forced registration, no deceptive buttons, no fake urgency.
- Safe randomness: security-sensitive values use the Web Crypto API, never a weak fallback.
Who builds it
blah is a private, non-commercial project by Marc Snell. Questions, bug reports, and tool requests go to the contact page.
Privacy
The short version: your input stays in your browser. The details are on the privacy page.
